So this week I learned some lessons…
Some people will justify everything they do to make themselves feel better. No matter how vicious their actions are to anyone else. They will fill their justification with half-truths and feel they are vindicated by just stating their irresponsible ‘facts’. Face the true fact of the situation and move on is all you can do.
Others may seem to jump on the bandwagon to criticize. Again… Face the true fact of the situation and move on is all you can do. There is no way you can make everyone happy, so do the best thing you can do….. Make yourself happy!
Remember… there are those that support you. I have a great bunch of friends, both on and off the internet. They are my friends….. It says so on the internet….. You can’t put anything on the internet that isn’t TRUE! Bonjour (I just love that commercial)! Well, I do have friends and they have shown me so much support this week. I appreciate each and every one of them.
Now if that don’t make ya feel better, you can look to your family. They will always make you feel better. Whether it is your son and granddaughter going to their annual Father Daughter Dance (they are so cute)……
OR spending your other granddaughter’s first weekend as a teenager complete with putting up the hair in pin-curls and facials….
So, Some Days you can take it like a champ….. And Some Days, you just need to back off the situation. Remember, when you give your time to someone, you give part of your life you can never get back. There will always be some that make you regret the time you wasted on them, BUT still give your time freely! Why? Because there are so many more times you WILL NOT regret and you revel in that well spent time. What a wonderful life, friends and family I have! That is the most important lesson I learned!
This is so true! Not sure what happened but glad you can make the best out of everything! Family and good friends are all that matter!
We all have to just move on. It is so hard to sometimes. And it is very hard to put the bad behind us. It hurts our heart. But our hearts are made to love and that will outweigh it. I have a beautiful family and a good life. I have to always remember that. Yours is good. Glad you are on the good side of the mess. Facebook friends can be real friends.
Your son looks so proud and happy to be escorting his daughter to a dance! I love it!! And yes, that commercial makes me chuckle every time I see it as well. You will NEVER make everyone happy, that is just a fact of life–and not everyone is going to agree with your point of view–I just wish that more people could agree to disagree–life would be so much more pleasant!

So true! And I love that commercial too. lol I love spending time with my kids and grandkids! They’re so precious and time goes so fast! I can’t believe how old my kids are now. I have some great friends on the internet too. I’m so thankful for them!
