Homemade Coffee Creamer! Vanilla Cafe, Blackberry, and MORE!

300115_100216146755216_100152733428224_903_630930937_nWell, we all know how much a staple coffee is around my home. Since I love adding creamer to enrich the flavor, I thought I would share some of my homemade creamer ideas. Now… running out of creamer is not as horrible as running out of coffee (that is considered a world crisis), but I always like to have the ingredients on hand to make creamer.

~~~
~~~

~~~
I have a couple of  ways I make the base mix for coffee creamer.
Base 1
(this is a sweeter creamer due to the first ingredient)
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz)
1 can evaporated milk or your favorite nut milk (14 oz)
Base 2
1 cup half and half
1 cup whipping cream
~~~

Vanilla Cafe Creamer

100_40242 cups of Base mix

2 tablespoons of Pure Vanilla Extract

1 tablespoon of Pure Coffee Extract (I use Watkins brand)

Mix ingredients and  pour into a container and store in refrigerator.  Shake well before using.

~~~
~~~

~~~
Vanilla Blackberry Creamer
100_40251 1/2 cups of Base mix
1/2 cup Blackberry Syrup (Recipe HERE)
2 tablespoons of Pure Vanilla Extract
Mix ingredients and  pour into a container and store in refrigerator.  Shake well before using.
~~~

~~~
~~~

Vanilla Cafe Pecan Creamer

2 cups of Base mix

2 tablespoons of Pure Vanilla Extract

1 tablespoon of Pure Coffee Extract

1 cup of toasted pecans

Put ingredients in a blender until the nuts are chopped up fine. Warm in saucepan over low heat, and let steep for 30 to 45 minutes. Then strain mixture, and pour into a container and store in refrigerator.  Shake well before using.

~~~
There are so many variations you can add like hazelnuts and almonds. You can also make more wonderful flavors by adding cinnamon and caramel to your mix.
Do you use a creamer to flavor your coffee? What is your fave?
