What a fun time we had with Terry Fator and a few of his friends. If you recall, Terry sings, he is a ventriloquist, he is a celebrity impressionist, but above all Terry Fator makes you laugh! You might remember when Terry Fator and his friend, Emma Taylor, belted out a song (“At Last” by Etta James) that took the judges (and audience) of America’s Got Talent by surprise! He went on to win season 2. Winston the Turtle takes credit for the win. His rendition of “What a Wonderful World” did indeed wow the judges, as well as the performance of Roy Orbison’s “Crying”.
Now our day started out with a trip to Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Tulsa. I will tell you about what all is available to enjoy there in another post. It was a mild enjoyable day to start with. Sister and her hubby came with me and we were invited to meet Terry backstage before the show. Yes! We were pretty excited about that. I even told Terry that when I met him. This was on my “Bucket List”! He grinned and said he would do a great show for me! We got our picture taken before heading to our seats.
We learned how Terry started out working as a janitor.
(Special Thanks to Tom Gilbert and Hard Rock for the awesome pictures)
Terry sang some great songs and tickled our funny bone with his stories. The interaction with his friends was spectacular. All the characters are awesome and you just have to fall in love with their personalities. There was also a wonderful tribute to our Military and Emergency Responders. It was an amazing show and we are so grateful to Terry for including Tulsa, Oklahoma in the tour… Plus special Thanks for the tickets and an experience we will not forget.
Now if you cant catch Terry on tour, he is at the Mirage in Las Vegas regularly.
Just check out his site for dates – Terry Fator
Hang tight, because I will be sharing about The awesome Hard Rock Casino and Hotel where we stayed at on this trip!
