Let me tell you that if a variety of food is what you want, Branson has a lot of choices! We have our favorites like Shorty Smalls… Guess you can say it is required eating when we have The Mom with us. Then there is Pasghettis, which is the sister and my fave. This visit I decided to throw in a couple new places that we have not tried.
Our first was Black Oak Grill. It is located down on Branson Landing. This place has great ambiance and the food was awesome.
As you know, coffee is my main addiction. Well, I am here to tell you another addiction I have…Reuben Sandwichs. I have planned for weeks to try theirs and I can say the Corned beef with melted swiss, sauerkraut and housemade 1,000 island dressing on marble rye was perfection!!!
The Mom had Grilled Meatloaf and veggies
My Bro-in-law had the Roast – Slow-roasted and fork-tender, topped with braised vegetables and natural jus with garlic smash potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Sister had the Chicken Fried Blt
We were all very happy with our meal and our server, Artim (not sure the spelling) was fantastic and so polite.
Make sure you stop by there when you are in Branson and need to refuel the belly!
Another place we ate at was Fuddruckers. I have always heard of them, but never had a chance to eat there.
Located at 1615 Hwy 76 in Branson, Fuddruckers is well known for their World Famous Hamburgers. The plan was to have me one of those hamburgets, but then I saw they had Fish and Chips. Well, I could not pass that up. Matter of fact, we all had them.
Talk about decor! We sat in the Elvis booth…
More to come on this trip soon
