About Me!

The Name

espacular is the combination of 2 words – especially spectacular

e(long) spac (with short a) u (long)and lar (like you are saying her but with l instead of a h)

aiesa is a name I read years ago in a novel more than 20 years ago and she has been my alter ever since.

It is pronounced

The a is silent then i (long) e (long) then sa like you say saw.

Just a lil ole granny who loves to go places and try new things. I am married to a great country boy. About 23 years ago I transplanted to Oklahoma from Kansas. According to my Brother I live out in the Boonies!! I lovingly and sarcastically call it “the suburbs of Colcord”.
I have been testing products for more than 12 years. I love to try new things and better yet, I love to tell people about them. I figured I needed to join the blogging world and can send my opinion out to even more. I include a giveaways and sweepstakes on some posts since I myself love sweeps and I will share some of my fav sweeps with you now and then. If you subscribe to my blog you will have a choice as to how often you will be emailed. Hope you enjoy!

I am from La Fayette GA. There is a lot of Cherokee history in this area. I live about 5 miles from where Ft. Cumming stood, a holding place for the Indians before the Trail of Tears. I grew up less than a mile from the very site. My Grandmother,s father was Cherokee, thus the reason for this contact. I remember the blackberry cobbler she made when we were kids, it is the spitting image of the one you posted. Unfortunately she passed and carried the recipe with her. I have been looking for the recipe ever since. I did not know it was a Cherokee recipe, but it makes sense now…she was Cherokee. She would lay strips of dough about an inch wide, crisscrossing, then brown them in the oven. Question, what kink of floor is used in this recipe, plain or self-rising? Finding it was so cool.
